János Mócsy (1895-1976)

Professor of Internal Medicine.

His research work covered primarily the fields of clinical toxicology, prevention and the control of external parasites, as well as areas of new pharmaceutical applications. In a period when large scale animal husbandry was expanding, he was dealing with the etiology of livestock diseases.

As a dean and later Director General he also participated in the management of this institution. He was a Member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
