UNIVET Budapest Success – The recognition of the Rector is a glory for the University as well
On 15th March Hungarians commemorate the Revolution and the War of Independence against the Austrian-Hapsburg rule in 1848–1849. It is one of the most prominent National Holidays in Hungary. President János Áder presented the prestigious Kossuth and Széchenyi prizes to recognise public personalities, artists and scientists on the occasion of the anniversary of the 1848 revolution in the Parliament.
The president awarded the Széchenyi prize to Dr Péter Sótonyi, the rector of the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest for his outstanding research and science political activities.
We are proud of our Alumni members and their success. Congratulation to Dr Péter Sótonyi on his excellent work and we wish him success in his future work.
Please let us know if you – or you know someone who – are awarded or have achieved an outstanding result on the field of science or research. We would be happy to share your success with our Alumni community.
