Professor of Animal Husbandry.
After mapping blood relation connections he was studying biochemical examinations. He gained international fame for the rachitis examinations he performed together with József Marek and László Urbányi. He developed an overall, general cattle breed registry system.
As prorector and appointed rector for several cycles he also participated in the management of the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest. He was a Member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
