Course description<\/p>

The subject of veterinary immunology summarizes basic immunology and important veterinary aspects.<\/p>

Lectures discuss the innate and adaptive immune system in mammals and other animals in detail after a general introduction.<\/p>

Students can learn during practical lessons about immune prophylaxis, autoimmune diseases and various deficiencies or malfunctions of the immune system, which are essential in veterinary practice.<\/p>

 <\/p>

The laboratory practices introduce the commonly used, mainly in vitro<\/em> diagnostic procedures and the evaluation of the obtained results.<\/p>
