The Botany 2 course builds on the morphological and systematic foundations learned in the first semester. Students will learn about the two large groups of Angiosperms, Monocots and Dicots. The most important plant families are presented through their characteristic species, in a more theoretical way during the lectures, while in seminars it is more practical through herbarium materials. The Plant Sociology and Phytogeography subjects focus on large geographical units, and we also present the most important plant associations in our country. In addition to the typical species of woody and grassland associations, students will also learn about the most important ecological problems of habitats.<\/p>
