{"id":191002,"date":"2025-09-23T10:47:27","date_gmt":"2025-09-23T08:47:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/univet.hu\/?page_id=191002"},"modified":"2025-09-23T10:47:27","modified_gmt":"2025-09-23T08:47:27","slug":"permanent-student-card","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/univet.hu\/en\/education\/students-secretariat\/downloads-forms-tutorials-faq\/permanent-student-card\/","title":{"rendered":"Permanent Student Card"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This student card is an orange-brown plastic card, in size similar to a credit card.<br \/> This card contains your data (name, place, and date of birth, address, type of student status), name of the university (\u00c1llatorvostudom\u00e1nyi Egyetem), and period of validity.<\/p> <h4>To receive the plastic card, you are requested to follow these steps:<\/h4> <p><strong>Step 1: Go to an Office of Government Issued Documents (short term:\u00a0Registration Office\/Municipality Office; in Hungarian: Okm\u00e1nyiroda\/Korm\u00e1nyablak) and apply for a student card.<\/strong><\/p> <p>Select an office get there with your passport \/ ID-card + residence permit\/address card and pick a number for the topic di\u00e1kigazolv\u00e1ny (= student card).<\/p> <p>Some examples of the closest offices:<br \/> Central Municipality office: 1133 Budapest, Visegr\u00e1di utca 110. (open: weekdays: 8.00 \u2013 20.00, weekends: 8.00 \u2013 14.00)<br \/> VII. district mun.office: 1073 Budapest, Erzs\u00e9bet k\u00f6r\u00fat 6. fszt.<br \/> VI. district mun.office: 1062 Budapest, Andr\u00e1ssy \u00fat 55.<br \/> V. district mun.office: 1051 Budapest, Erzs\u00e9bet t\u00e9r 3.<\/p> <p>For more info on opening hours, please check: https:\/\/kormanyablak.hu\/hu\/kormanyablakok\/budapest\/1<\/p> <p>There you have your main data registered and a photo of you will be taken. You will get a form with a unique code in the top right corner, called NEK identifier. Please double-check all your data on the issued NEK-sheet! The data on the NEK sheet, e.g. the way your name is spelled has to be exactly the same as the data registered in the Neptun system (if not, your student card request will be rejected)!<\/p> <p><strong>Step 2: You need to register your application electronically in the Neptun system.<\/strong><\/p> <p>Go to \u201cAdministration\u201d -&gt; \u201cStudent card request\u201d -&gt; \u201cAdd new\u201d<\/p> <p><strong>Here you need to type in:<\/strong><br \/> (1) your NEK identifier (mandatory)<br \/> Type in your NEK identifier correctly using capital letters and without any hyphens.<br \/> (2) demand type (mandatory)<br \/> Here you can select the reason for your request (e.g. first application, due to data change, lost, new request due to false data).<br \/> (3) your address (mandatory)<br \/> Select your home address (i.e., your permanent address in your home country) from the drop-down menu. If you select your home address during the process, the manufactured student card will contain the phrase \u201cK\u00fclf\u00f6ldi c\u00edm\u201d (= foreign address).<br \/> (4) second institution<br \/> Do NOT fill in this field (even probably still being a student of your former school) because in that case, some further administration would be necessary.<br \/> It takes usually a couple of weeks to have your student-card delivered. Do check meanwhile Neptun for possible error messages.<\/p> <p><strong>Step 3: Your student card is ready and you can obtain it.<\/strong><\/p> <p>Student cards are posted to the University of Veterinary Medicine.
