Will I receive an exemption?<\/h3> <p data-start=\"796\" data-end=\"1016\"><strong data-start=\"796\" data-end=\"816\">Not necessarily.<\/strong> Subject titles alone are not sufficient. Please carefully review the UVMB syllabus and compare the <strong data-start=\"916\" data-end=\"941\">actual course content<\/strong>, as similarly named subjects often cover substantially different material.<\/p> <hr data-start=\"1018\" data-end=\"1021\" \/> <h3 data-start=\"1023\" data-end=\"1099\">I did not receive an exemption despite having studied this subject. Why?<\/h3> <p data-start=\"1100\" data-end=\"1327\">There may be several reasons. Most commonly, the previously completed subject was <strong data-start=\"1182\" data-end=\"1209\">not veterinary-specific<\/strong> and did not include the specialized and discipline-specific content that is an essential part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/univet.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Syllabus-UVMB-first-and-second-year-22-23.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UVMB curriculum<\/a>.<\/p> <hr data-start=\"1329\" data-end=\"1332\" \/> <h3 data-start=\"1334\" data-end=\"1402\">Can I apply for an exemption using screenshots or website links?<\/h3> <p data-start=\"1403\" data-end=\"1519\"><strong data-start=\"1403\" data-end=\"1410\">No.<\/strong> All supporting documents must be submitted as <strong data-start=\"1457\" data-end=\"1470\">originals<\/strong> (stamped and signed) or as <strong data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1518\">notarized copies<\/strong>.<\/p> <hr data-start=\"1521\" data-end=\"1524\" \/> <h3 data-start=\"1526\" data-end=\"1608\">I have sent my documents to the office. Can I submit an exemption request now?<\/h3> <p data-start=\"1609\" data-end=\"1766\"><strong data-start=\"1609\" data-end=\"1616\">No.<\/strong> Please wait until you receive confirmation from the Admissions Office or the Student Secretariat that your documents have been reviewed and approved.<\/p> <hr data-start=\"1768\" data-end=\"1771\" \/> <h3 data-start=\"1773\" data-end=\"1803\">What is an Admission Code?<\/h3> <p data-start=\"1804\" data-end=\"2023\">The Admission Code is a <strong data-start=\"1828\" data-end=\"1847\">four-digit code<\/strong> followed by <strong data-start=\"1860\" data-end=\"1866\">\/E<\/strong> or <strong data-start=\"1870\" data-end=\"1876\">\/D<\/strong>, included in your admission letter.<br data-start=\"1912\" data-end=\"1915\" \/>If you have not been admitted, you do not have an Admission Code and <strong data-start=\"1984\" data-end=\"2022\">cannot submit an exemption request<\/strong>.<\/p> <hr data-start=\"2025\" data-end=\"2028\" \/> <h3 data-start=\"2030\" data-end=\"2056\">What is a NEPTUN code?<\/h3> <p data-start=\"2057\" data-end=\"2282\">NEPTUN is the official academic administration system used in Hungarian higher education.<br data-start=\"2146\" data-end=\"2149\" \/>Each student receives a <strong data-start=\"2173\" data-end=\"2201\">six-character identifier<\/strong>, which is required for login. This code is issued <strong data-start=\"2252\" data-end=\"2281\">shortly before enrollment<\/strong>.<\/p> <hr data-start=\"2284\" data-end=\"2287\" \/> <h3 data-start=\"2289\" data-end=\"2399\">I studied all parts of a subject, but its content was divided among several courses. How should I proceed?<\/h3> <p data-start=\"2400\" data-end=\"2554\">For each UVMB subject, <strong data-start=\"2423\" data-end=\"2442\">one final grade<\/strong> must be assigned. Grades from multiple smaller courses <strong data-start=\"2498\" data-end=\"2518\">cannot be merged<\/strong> to form a single exemption request.<\/p> <p data-start=\"2556\" data-end=\"2723\">However, if you completed <strong data-start=\"2582\" data-end=\"2624\">one major course covering at least 75%<\/strong> of the UVMB subject content, you may attach <strong data-start=\"2669\" data-end=\"2694\">additional courses<\/strong> to supplement missing parts. In such cases, please also indicate these subjects in the corresponding field.<\/p> <hr data-start=\"2725\" data-end=\"2728\" \/> <h3 data-start=\"2730\" data-end=\"2831\">I studied one subject that covers the coursework of multiple UVMB subjects. How should I proceed?<\/h3> <p data-start=\"2832\" data-end=\"2970\">You must submit a <strong data-start=\"2850\" data-end=\"2902\">separate exemption request for each UVMB subject<\/strong>, referring to the same previously completed course in each request.<\/p> <hr data-start=\"2972\" data-end=\"2975\" \/> <h3 data-start=\"2977\" data-end=\"3063\">I studied this subject but did not take an exam. Can I still receive an exemption?<\/h3> <p data-start=\"3064\" data-end=\"3165\"><strong data-start=\"3064\" data-end=\"3071\">No.<\/strong> Exemptions can be granted <strong data-start=\"3098\" data-end=\"3148\">only if a successful examination was completed<\/strong> for the subject.<\/p> <hr data-start=\"3167\" data-end=\"3170\" \/> <h3 data-start=\"3172\" data-end=\"3234\">I passed the exam, but my grade is low. Can I still apply?<\/h3> <p data-start=\"3235\" data-end=\"3345\"><strong data-start=\"3235\" data-end=\"3243\">Yes.<\/strong> However, a low grade may serve as grounds for <strong data-start=\"3290\" data-end=\"3319\">partial or full rejection<\/strong> of the exemption request.<\/p> <hr data-start=\"3347\" data-end=\"3350\" \/> <h3 data-start=\"3352\" data-end=\"3450\">I have not received an answer yet. Why does it take so long?<\/h3> <p data-start=\"3451\" data-end=\"3676\">Please consult the <strong data-start=\"3470\" data-end=\"3511\">decision timeline described in STEP 7<\/strong> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/univet.hu\/en\/education\/students-secretariat\/subject-exemptions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Subject Exemption Process.<\/a><br data-start=\"3545\" data-end=\"3548\" \/>Requests are usually evaluated within 2 weeks (from the submission of the subject exemption request form), if you experience delay, please contact the Admissions Office <span style=\"color: #808080\">(or the Student Secretariat in case of enrolled students)<\/span>.<\/p> <hr data-start=\"3678\" data-end=\"3681\" \/> <h3 data-start=\"3683\" data-end=\"3752\">Will I receive notifications at each stage of the review process?<\/h3> <p data-start=\"3753\" data-end=\"3806\"><strong data-start=\"3753\" data-end=\"3760\">No.<\/strong> You will receive <strong data-start=\"3778\" data-end=\"3805\">only the final decision<\/strong>.<\/p> <hr data-start=\"3808\" data-end=\"3811\" \/> <h3 data-start=\"3813\" data-end=\"3892\">I submitted multiple exemption requests.
