Introduction<\/p>
Dr. Zolt\u00e1n Somogyi was born in Debrecen and continued his grammar school years here. He graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 as a doctor of veterinary medicine and in the same year he started his PhD studies at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology of the University. At the same time, since graduating from the University, he has also been active in the pig sector as a caring veterinarian. His research topic is based on the study of the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of antibiotics, mainly in pigs and in bacterial strains isolated from pigs. He is a supervisor of 2-3 students on an ongoing basis and an active participant in several departmental research projects.<\/p>
