I began my studies at Szent Istv\u00e1n University in 2004, where I received a Bachelor&#8217;s and a Master\u2019s degree in Wildlife Management in 2008 and 2010 respectively. I obtained my PhD in 2019 and my habilitation in 2024 at the University of Sopron.<\/p> <p>Since 2017, I have been working full-time at the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest, at the Department of Exotic Animal and Wildlife Medicine. Since 2002, I have also been working at the Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden, where I currently work part-time as a research associate. In addition, as of 2015, based on the license issued by the National Inspectorate for Environmental Protection and Nature Conservation, I am one of the experts in the wildlife protection sub-field of the nature conservation field.<\/p> <p>At the University of Veterinary Medicine, I currently teach courses in the topics of hunting zoology, hunting ecology, hunting history, alien and invasive species, and the biology of venomous snakes. Between 2013 and 2018, I taught the subject &#8220;Invasion of vertebrate species: effects and examples&#8221; at Szent Istv\u00e1n University.<\/p> <p>From 1999 to 2005, I served as a member of the editorial board of the Terrarium Magazine, and since 2009, I have been a member of the editorial board for Biharean Biologist, as well as since 2010, for the South-Western Journal of Horticulture, Biology, and Environment.<\/p> <p>I have been a member of the Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Herpetologie und Terrarienkunde since 1994, the \u00d6sterreichische Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Herpetologie from 1996 to 2006, and the Terrariengemenschaft Berlin from 1998 to 2003 and again since 2019.
