Introduction<\/span><\/p> Dr. Adrienn Merc\u00e9desz Veres was born in 1984 in Gy\u00f6ngy\u00f6s. After eight years in high school in Miskolc, she was admitted to the Faculty of Veterinary Science of Szent Istv\u00e1n University, graduating cum laude in 2010. During her university years, she spent six months in clinical practice at the Tierartzliche Hochschule in Hanover and at the Universidade T\u00e9cnica Faculdade de Medicina Veterin\u00e1ria in Lisbon as part of an Erasmus exchange program. After graduating as a participant in the Leonardo Lifelong Learning Program, she spent six months of clinical practice in referral pet clinics in Ireland, where she gained a usable knowledge of English that she uses to this day in her departmental work. In 2015, after five years in a veterinary practice, she began her PhD studies as a departmental veterinarian under the guidance of Dr. \u00c1kos Jerzsele.
