Introduction<\/span><\/p>

Dr. Adrienn Merc\u00e9desz Veres was born in 1984 in Gy\u00f6ngy\u00f6s. After eight years in high school in Miskolc, she was admitted to the Faculty of Veterinary Science of Szent Istv\u00e1n University, graduating cum laude in 2010. During her university years, she spent six months in clinical practice at the Tierartzliche Hochschule in Hanover and at the Universidade T\u00e9cnica Faculdade de Medicina Veterin\u00e1ria in Lisbon as part of an Erasmus exchange program.

After graduating as a participant in the Leonardo Lifelong Learning Program, she spent six months of clinical practice in referral pet clinics in Ireland, where she gained a usable knowledge of English that she uses to this day in her departmental work. In 2015, after five years in a veterinary practice, she began her PhD studies as a departmental veterinarian under the guidance of Dr. \u00c1kos Jerzsele. His research topic is \u201cPhenotypic and genotypic study of P. aeruginosa and S. aureus biofilms isolated from domestic animals; the potential for damage to biofilms \u2019.<\/p>

Since 2016, she has been participating in the teaching activities of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology as a pharmacology practice supervisor, dissertation supervisor and gives a lecture on toxicology in English and Hungarian.<\/p>

Since 2018, she has been an assistant professor at the department, a student in veterinary veterinary training, and one of the educational organizers of the adult training assistant at the university.<\/p>
