Lectures: <\/strong><\/p> The program of the lectures can be found at the University website and it will be sent to the contact student at the beginning of the semester. Lecture topics will cover the followings: Internal Medicine Diagnostics, Anaesthesiology, and Radiology.<\/p>
As the attendance on the lectures is obligatory an attendance list may be written on the lectures. Students missing more lecture than it is allowed by the Academic rules and regulation cannot have their black book signed for the semester. Each lecture can be downloaded from the website.<\/p>
Lecture halls: <\/strong><\/p> Internal Medicine Diagnostics:<\/em> Hetzel Henrik Lecture Hall<\/p> Radiology and Anaesthesiology:<\/em> Hetzel Henrik Lecture Hall<\/p> Practicals:<\/strong><\/p> Knowing the lecture material of the actual topic from Internal Medicine Diagnostics, Anaesthesiology and Radiology is necessary for the practical lessons. Written test or oral presentation is a part of each practical lesson. White coat and thermometer (necessary from the 1st practical) and phonendoscope (necessary from the 3rd practical) are obligatory for the practical lessons of Internal Diagnostic and white coat for the radiology and anaesthesiology practicals.<\/p>
Attending the practicals is obligatory. Missing only acceptable if it is due to illness or official university activity (e.g.: clinical shift). Missed Internal Medicine Diagnostic practical work must be repeated during the last week of the semester after personal consultation. In case of missed practice of radiology or anaesthesiology oral report is necessary with the responsible teacher after consultation. Verification of the missed practicals is necessary. Temporary change of groups for the practicals are unacceptable, and only permitted in case of illness proved by medical paper. Students missing more practicals than it is allowed by the Academic rules and regulation cannot have their black book signed for the semester.<\/p>

For further information please see the thematics.<\/p> Anaesthesiology and Radiology<\/em>: building B practical room<\/p> Practical topics are available on the website, and will be sent to the contact student at the beginning of the semester.<\/p>
<\/p>
Exam:<\/strong><\/p> The Small Animal Medicine exam consits of 4 parts:<\/p>
- radiology and anaesthesiology practical grade (the mean grade of the practical tests)<\/li>
- Internal Medicine Diagnostics computer test grade<\/li>
- Internal Medicine Diagnostics oral exam grade<\/li>
- Internal Medicine Diagnostics practical grade<\/li> <\/ul>
<\/p>
Computer test: <\/u><\/em><\/p> Place of the exam:<\/em> Building N 3rd floor, HEFOP 1 or 2 computer lab<\/p> Time of the test:<\/em> 8 o\u2019clock in the morning, please arrive at least 10 minutes earlier<\/p> - Record-books (black books) should be shown for identification at the start of the exam<\/li>
- After accepting the program\u2019s user manual students type their name, then confirme with the \u201eOK\u201d button.<\/li>
- There is a 35 minute time frame for the exam, which consists of 20 randomly generated questions-<\/li>
- After finishing the exam, the program will display the final result.<\/li>
- During the exam students can see the number of the question at the upper left corner and the elapsed time at upper right corner of the display. Navigation between questions is possible with the buttons visible at the down part of the monitor.<\/li>
- There are 3 types of clearly marked questions<\/li> <\/ul>
- simple choice question<\/li>
- questions with a picture: only one answer can be marked<\/li>
- multiple choice question (withdrawal of your choice is possible by clicking again on the answer)<\/li> <\/ol>
- During the exam changing the given answers is possible<\/li>
- The exam ends when students click ont he \u201eend exam\u201d button<\/li>
- Every good single choice answer is 3 points, good multiple choice questions are 2 points, every wrong multiple choice answer is -1 point.<\/li> <\/ul>
<\/p>
Oral exam:<\/u><\/em><\/p> Place of the exam:<\/em> L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Papp seminar room or Building M practical room<\/p> Theoretical question:<\/em> students have to choose one question from the given topics.<\/p> Practical question:<\/em> students have to choose one question from the given topics, then they have to examine the animal and write down their findings.<\/p> <\/p>
Failed exam:<\/strong><\/p> In case of one part of the exam is failed then the whole exam is unsuccessful, the student will receive a grade 1 evaluation, which is registered in the black book and the NEPTUN system as well. If the student reached at least grade 2 at the computer test, it is not necessary to rewrite it, only if the student wants to reach a better grade. In case of failing one question at the oral exam, then the whole oral exam part is failed.<\/p>
Sign up for the Internal Medicine Diagnostic exam is possible at the NEPTUN system (minimum 8 students, maximum 25 students per day including Hungarian and foreign students together).<\/p>
Postpone an exam is possible only during the regular exam period if there is (are) empty place(s)<\/p>
on the Neptun for that particular day. Postponing an exam is allowed only till 12.00 a.m. of the preceding working day (i.e. till 12.00 a.m. of Friday if the exam happens on Monday) as to the relevant regulation of the Faculty of Veterinary Science.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
