In the field of state veterinary medicine (veterinary administration), the research group primarily focuses on the biosecurity measures on dairy cattle and pig farms, and as regards to forensic veterinary medicine the veterinarians’ ethical and criminal liability, and their liability for the damages. In addition, veterinary practice management in small, large and mixed animal practices with special regard to business management is also a research area in focus. Furthermore, the research of the “so-called” veterinary soft skills also plays an important role, such as communication and crisis communication in veterinary practices, the maintenance and evaluation of the veterinarians’ mental and emotional health, the differences in salary demand of the veterinarians according to their age, work field, geographical location, etc., and the attitude of other veterinarians and animal owners towards female veterinarians, furthermore, the expectations, perceptions and experiences of female veterinarians when they return to work after maternity leave.

Five outstanding international publications by the research group published in the past 5 years

1. Ózsvári, L.¸ Harnos A.
