(12 months)<\/p> <p><strong>Project website:<\/strong> EFSA | Science, safe food, sustainability (europa.eu)<\/p> <p><strong>Summary:<\/strong><\/p> <p>The main focus of the EU-FORA scholarship program is on chemical and microbiological issues, risk assessment and, more generally, activities under the competence of EFSA, to attract specialists from relevant fields such as: agriculture, biochemistry, bioinformatics, biology, biometrics, biotechnology, chemistry, dietary exposure, environmental sciences, epidemiology, food science, food technology, genetics, health and food safety, human medicine, life sciences, mathematics, microbiology, molecular biology, natural sciences, nutrition, pharmacy, public health, statistics, toxicology, veterinary medicine or related fields.<\/p> <p>The EU-FORA program creates a regular 12-month study scholarship with the following goals:<br \/> \u2022 attract and motivate mid-career professionals to become risk assessors, thereby increasing the pool of experts available in Europe<br \/> \u2022 enhance exchange and cooperation between national food safety agencies and EFSA by encouraging Member States&#8217; participation in regulatory risk assessment work;<br \/> \u2022 contributes to the harmonization and further development of food safety risk assessment practices and methodologies throughout Europe, with the aim of building a common EU risk culture;<\/p> <p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-88091 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/univet.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/small-EFSA_in-the-middle_CMYK_EN-320x226.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"226\" srcset=\"https:\/\/univet.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/small-EFSA_in-the-middle_CMYK_EN-320x226.jpg 320w, https:\/\/univet.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/small-EFSA_in-the-middle_CMYK_EN.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Call code: GP\/EFSA\/ENCO\/2021\/01 Project\/process code: AFSCO-13 Consortium members: UNIVERSIDAD POLIT\u00c9CNICA DE CARTAGENA (Spain) Total budget: EUR 825,000 UVMB\u2019s budget: EUR 55,000 Funding rate: 100% Duration: from 1st September 2022. to 31st August 2023.
