These include semen cryopreservation, endoscopy-assisted intrauterine transcervical insemination (TCI), and the use of epididymal sperm for fertilization.The preservation of the foxhound breed is essential for the clinic due to its calm temperament and robust physiology, making it particularly suitable for cardiovascular research.<\/li> <li data-start=\"990\" data-end=\"1392\">The ovarian cortex contains hundreds of thousands of immature oocytes within follicles. Their collection and cryopreservation would enable long-term genetic resource banking and allow future reproduction from valuable females even after unexpected death. Although ovarian tissue cryopreservation has been successfully applied in several species, it carries risks such as disease transmission upon transplantation. Consequently, increasing attention has been directed toward <strong data-start=\"2053\" data-end=\"2118\">preantral follicle culture, cryopreservation, and utilization<\/strong>. Our research group conducts intensive studies on the in vitro culture and long-term preservation of preantral follicles using mouse and canine (including shelter program) ovaries. However, ARTs are rarely applied in exotic species due to limited sample availability and significant interspecies variability.<\/p> <p data-start=\"6894\" data-end=\"7073\">This project aims to develop cryopreservation and storage protocols primarily for <strong data-start=\"6976\" data-end=\"6997\">chameleon species<\/strong>, with further extension to additional species during the research period.<\/p> <hr data-start=\"7075\" data-end=\"7078\" \/> <h3 data-section-id=\"rppgsa\" data-start=\"7080\" data-end=\"7109\">Bolyai Research Project<\/h3> <p data-start=\"7111\" data-end=\"7299\">Cryopreservation and in vitro culture of preantral follicles offer powerful tools for genetic conservation in wildlife and zoo animals, and have important applications in human medicine.<\/p> <p data-start=\"7301\" data-end=\"7450\">Our research has led to the development of a reliable culture medium supporting in vitro growth of canine and murine preantral follicles (PAF IVC).<\/p> <p data-start=\"7452\" data-end=\"7759\">However, assisted reproductive techniques such as IVM, IVF, and IVC show low efficiency in dogs due to species-specific reproductive physiology.
