In 1990, I obtained a diploma in veterinary medicine at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Budapest, and in 2003, in the same institution, “Investigation of reproductive disorders of infectious origin and miscarriages in mares.” the PhD degree with my thesis. Between 1990 and 1997 I worked as a teaching assistant at the Department of Pathology of the ÁOTE, then between 1997 and 2021 at the Laboratory of Mammalian and Poultry Diseases of the NÉBIH ÁDI (formerly the National Veterinary Institute) as a laboratory veterinarian. From 2021, I was employed at the Department of Epidemiology and Microbiology of ÁTE. Thanks to working relationships with domestic and foreign researchers, I was able to work in numerous foreign pathology laboratories for longer or shorter periods of time (Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Northern Ireland). I am a regular lecturer at ÁTE’s graduate and postgraduate courses, as well as at various domestic and international congresses.
