As part of my doctoral work, I am investigating the jumping spiders living on the island of Papua New Guinea, and within this my main area of \u200b\u200binterest is the jumping spiders belonging to the extremely interesting genus <em>Bathippus<\/em> living here, as well as the ant-mimicking species living on the island. The main directions of my research are the taxonomic examination of the species living here, the description of new species, and the examination of sexual selection on these spiders.<\/p> <p><strong>Main research areas:<\/strong><\/p> <ul> <li>Description of new species belonging to genera<em> Bathippus <\/em>and<em> Canama<\/em><\/li> <li>Description of ant-mimicking species belonging to the genus of <em>Myrmarachne<\/em> from the island<\/li> <li>The jumping spider fauna of Mt.
