The Senate of the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest held its end-of-year graduation and doctoral award ceremony in the great hall on June 28. At the event, Dr. L\u00e1szl\u00f3 \u00d3zsv\u00e1ri, university professor and deputy rector for education, delivered a ceremonial speech, followed by Dr. Tibor Bartha, university professor and deputy rector for international affairs, who greeted the students studying in English.<\/p>

At the ceremony, Dr. L\u00e1szl\u00f3 \u00d3zsv\u00e1ri conferred the title of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine upon 17 doctoral candidates who completed their studies in the English-language program. On behalf of the new doctors, Dr. Rosemarie Eden expressed gratitude to everyone who supported their university studies. Subsequently, the clinical departments thanked her, acknowledging her as the heart and soul and the main driving force behind the practical training program involving Beagle dogs. Through her years of work, she not only assisted her fellow students with practical work but also did a great deal for the well-being and future of the service animals. Her gift was presented by Dr. Tibor N\u00e9meth, deputy rector for clinical affairs.<\/p>

In the continuation of the ceremony, the deputy rector of the University awarded diplomas to 8 biologists who completed their undergraduate studies and 7 who finished their master’s studies. Finally, 8 young professionals who completed their specialized training in applied biostatistics received their certification. Among those who earned diplomas in biology, R\u00f3bert D\u00e1niel Mar\u00f3thy expressed thanks to the University.<\/p>

At the end-of-year ceremony, H\u00e9di Kov\u00e1cs and Bal\u00e1zs Domonkos Moravcsik received the Tolnagro award for their exam results, while Eszter Csilla V\u00e1mosi and \u00c1bel Szab\u00f3 received the Primavet award for their theses.<\/p> \t\t
