{"id":175968,"date":"2025-02-17T14:57:49","date_gmt":"2025-02-17T13:57:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/univet.hu\/?p=175968"},"modified":"2025-02-17T14:57:49","modified_gmt":"2025-02-17T13:57:49","slug":"blood-donation-2025-march","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/univet.hu\/en\/2025\/02\/blood-donation-2025-march\/","title":{"rendered":"Blood donation &#8211; 2025 March"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Be a hero, donate blood!<\/strong><\/p> <p>The principle of blood donation is that only healthy people can donate blood, thus protecting the health of both the blood donor and the patient receiving the blood, so\u00a0<strong>please do not come if you are not completely healthy!<\/strong><\/p> <ul> <li><strong>Place<\/strong>:\u00a0 Student Centre (building \u201cP\u201d)<\/li> <li><strong>Date<\/strong>: 12th \/Wednesday\/ March from 10.00 a.m to 3 p.m \u2013 <em>Please note that during this time dogs are not allowed to enter the building!<\/em><\/li> <\/ul> <p>You can be a blood donor if you have a valid EU health card. In addition to this, you need your\u00a0IDs\u00a0(passport or identity card) and\u00a0a document certifying your valid address in Hungary.<\/p> <p>To become a blood donor you have to:<\/p> <ul> <li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 be in good health and feeling well<\/li> <li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 bring your original health insurance card (TAJ card or EU health card), your ID and address card<\/li> <li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 be at least 18 years old, but not older than 65<\/li> <li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 weigh at least 50 kg<\/li> <li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tattoos and piercings are not a drawback if they were prepared 6 months\u00a0 before blood donation<\/li> <\/ul> <p>Blood drive is preceded by a medical examination and the doctor decides whether you are eligible.
