{"id":1952,"date":"2014-03-20T15:25:00","date_gmt":"2014-03-20T14:25:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/univet.hu\/2014\/03\/20\/dr-geza-szita-awarded-four-medals-in-2013\/"},"modified":"2024-12-30T23:17:11","modified_gmt":"2024-12-30T22:17:11","slug":"dr-geza-szita-awarded-four-medals-in-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/univet.hu\/en\/2014\/03\/dr-geza-szita-awarded-four-medals-in-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Dr. G\u00e9za Szita awarded four medals in 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<div> <p>Dr. G&eacute;za Szita, retired professor of the Department of Food Hygiene, was awarded a total of four medals in 2013 at international invention competitions for his invention called &ldquo;Rapid and automated detection of Pseudomonas aeruginosa by conductance measurement in selective medium&quot; therefore he was the Hungarian inventor to receive most international recognitions in 2013.&nbsp;<br \/>  &nbsp;<br \/>  He received a gold medal at both the INVENTO International Invention Exhibition in Prague and the Sixth International Inventor&#39;s Day in Sevastopol, won a plaque at the International Exhibition of Agricultural and Environmental Inventions in Biograd, and a silver medal at the chemical inventions&rsquo; contest in Warsaw.&nbsp;<br \/>  &nbsp;<br \/>  Congratulations for his outstanding achievements!<\/p> <\/p><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&rsquo;s not always easy to decide which profession is best for us when we are young. But this summer the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest showed that becoming a veterinarian can be a good choice. With a one-week program, we showed for a bunch of young titans what university studies are like as a vet student and life as a vet. We are sure by the end of the summer school our guests will have a better understanding of what vets do.
