\u200bPlease read this message from Huba\u2019s family and, if you are able, please help them! We always talk about the tight-knit community and strength of our university\u2014now is the time to show what we can achieve for one another.<\/p>

\u200bWe are reaching out to ask for your support in Huba’s recovery through directed blood donation.
Get well soon, Huba, we are thinking of you!
\u200bOn June 4, 2026, Huba suffered a stroke, due to which he will be spending days, possibly weeks, in a medically induced coma. During this period, his body cannot produce enough blood to sustain him once he returns to consciousness. Upon waking, he will need to receive a blood transfusion to aid his recovery.
\u200bIt is important to know that you can easily help him through a directed blood donation, regardless of your blood type.
\u200bSince blood products cannot be stored for longer than 30\u201335 days, we would like to coordinate this process. We kindly ask you to understand that we need approximately 10 donors per week. This ensures that even if the recovery process is prolonged, we will have enough resources\u2014meaning enough donors.<\/p>
