A group of visitors (17 students and 2 faculty members) from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine University of Bari Aldo Moro, Italy come to our university on July 6\u20137. On behalf of the rector Prof. P\u00e9ter Sot\u00f3nyi, Prof. Tibor Bartha, Director of International Affairs and Senior Advisor to the Rector, welcomed the Italian guests. He gave a brief overview of the history of our university, our current projects, and future plans. At the end of his presentation he answered the students\u2019 questions. Professor Giovanni Lacalandra, who led the Italian student group, expressed his gratitude for our university\u2019s support in making their visit possible. Afterward, the students visited the small animal clinic where Dr. Kristi\u00e1n Erdei welcomed them and gave them a tour of the facility, providing them with insight into the clinical work being conducted there. After the small animal clinic the group visited the library where Bettina Bereczki-Bir\u00f3 also welcomed the team and gave a presentation on the library\u2019s operations. The professional program concluded with a discussion over lunch at the Student Center.<\/p>

On the second day the students visited the University Farm in \u00dcll\u0151 where they toured the Department and Clinic of Equine Medicine as well as the Food Animal Medicine Clinic. At the first location, Dr. D\u00f3ra Langer led the group on a tour of the facilities, while at the second location Dr. Anna Csepreghy did the same, allowing the students to observe various procedures, examinations, and treatments. The professional program concluded with a horse-drawn carriage ride and a barbecue in the beautiful park of the University Farm.<\/p> \t\t
