{"id":58693,"date":"2020-10-02T09:18:12","date_gmt":"2020-10-02T07:18:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/univet.hu\/?p=58693"},"modified":"2020-10-02T09:19:49","modified_gmt":"2020-10-02T07:19:49","slug":"blood-donation-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/univet.hu\/en\/2020\/10\/blood-donation-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Blood donation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The principle of blood donation is that only healthy people can donate blood, thus protecting the health of both the blood donor and the patient receiving the blood, so <strong>please do not come if you are not completely healthy!<\/strong><\/p> <ul> <li><strong>Place<\/strong>:\u00a0 Student Centre (building &#8220;P&#8221;)<\/li> <li><strong>Date<\/strong>: 7th \/Wednesday\/ October from 10 a.m to 3 p.m<\/li> <\/ul> <p>You can be a blood donor if you have a valid EU health insurance accepted within the EU. In addition to this, you need your\u00a0IDs\u00a0(passport or identity card) and\u00a0a document certifying your valid address in Hungary.<\/p> <p>To become a blood donor you have to:<\/p> <ul> <li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 be in good health and feeling well<\/li> <li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 bring your original health insurance card (TAJ card or EU health card), your ID and address card<\/li> <li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 be at least 18 years old, but not older than 65<\/li> <li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 weigh at least 50 kg<\/li> <li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tattoos and piercings are not a drawback if they were prepared 6 months\u00a0 before blood donation<\/li> <\/ul> <p>Blood drive is preceded by a medical examination and the doctor decides whether you are eligible.
