In the frame of the event, we met with agents, educational consultants, and students.<\/strong><\/p> <p>During the visit, we presented our university to different high school students in Amritsar. The students could learn more about our education system, Hungary and the beauty of the veterinary profession, sharing with them new ways and opportunities regarding higher education and veterinary medicine.<\/p> <p style=\"text-align:center\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/univet.hu\/files\/news\/218\/images\/IMG-9323ecc02cd1094d4aca98891a48c3e5-V%281%29.jpg\" data-replaced=\"true\" style=\"height:263px; width:350px\" \/><\/p> <p>Agricultural has an increasing importance in India that is why skilled veterinarians are needed to keep up with the development of the country.&nbsp;<\/p> <p style=\"text-align:center\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/univet.hu\/files\/news\/218\/images\/IMG-ae2904e869926702a3a5d10d65cd64bf-V%281%29.jpg\" data-replaced=\"true\" style=\"height:263px; width:350px\" \/><\/p> <p>We visited at Gujarat region the Central University of Gujarat, where we initiated cooperation with the vice chancellor of the university. Also in Gujarat regions&#39; high schools, we shared our presentation about Hungarian higher education system and the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest to leaders, teachers, and students as well.<\/p> <p style=\"text-align:center\">&nbsp;<\/p> <\/p><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&rsquo;s not always easy to decide which profession is best for us when we are young. But this summer the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest showed that becoming a veterinarian can be a good choice. With a one-week program, we showed for a bunch of young titans what university studies are like as a vet student and life as a vet. We are sure by the end of the summer school our guests will have a better understanding of what vets do.
