In the first semester, all students get out and let off some steam together before the exams, and have tons of activities such as sports competitions, footraces, concerts and the most memorable moment of all, the march from the University&rsquo;s campus all the way to the students&#39; dormitory. To promote animal welfare this year we marched for a nobles cause.<\/p> <p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/univet.hu\/files\/news\/202\/images\/web_EN22%281%29.jpg\" data-replaced=\"true\" style=\"width:250px\" \/><\/p> <p>On the occasion of the <strong>International Day<\/strong>, students of different nationalities set up their camps in different areas of the park, hoist their flag, and begin to cook and to offer the typical delicacies of their countries.<\/p> <p>For more photos, please visit the following <a href=\"https:\/\/univet.hu\/en\/university\/gallery\">site<\/a>.<\/p> <\/p><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&rsquo;s not always easy to decide which profession is best for us when we are young. But this summer the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest showed that becoming a veterinarian can be a good choice. With a one-week program, we showed for a bunch of young titans what university studies are like as a vet student and life as a vet. We are sure by the end of the summer school our guests will have a better understanding of what vets do.
