This presentation will address techniques and medications to decrease the stress of veterinary visits and procedures, including pre-visit and in-clinic anxiolytics for dogs and cats.<\/div> <div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">Dr. Emily Kinnaird received a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia in 1979. She also has a Master of Veterinary Science from the University of Queensland, Australia, where she taught veterinary medicine for several years.<\/div> <div><\/div> <div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">Her areas of expertise include internal medicine and veterinary behavioural medicine. Dr. Kinnaird is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), the Veterinary Information Network (VIN), and the Jefferson Area Veterinary Medical Association (JAVMA).
