V\u00e9gez\u00e9st\u0151l fogva folyamatosan az \u00c9lettani \u00e9s Biok\u00e9miai Tansz\u00e9k munkat\u00e1rsa. PhD fokozat\u00e1t a Leuveni Katolikus Egyetemen (Belgium) szerezte 1993-ban, disszert\u00e1ci\u00f3ja c\u00edme: <em>\u201eThyroid hormone metabolism in broiler chickens as influenced by exogenous and endogenous factors.\u201d<\/em> 1995-t\u0151l postdoctoral fellow-k\u00e9nt kutat\u00e1s a Harvard Egyetem Orvosi Kar\u00e1nak pajzsmirigy laborat\u00f3rium\u00e1ban (Boston, Massachusetts, Egyes\u00fclt \u00c1llamok). 2001-ben egyetemi tan\u00e1ri kinevez\u00e9s, 2003-ban az MTA doktora fokozat szerz\u00e9se, majd 2017 \u00f3ta az \u00c9lettani \u00e9s Biok\u00e9miai Tansz\u00e9k tansz\u00e9kvezet\u0151je. 2012 \u00e9s 2024 k\u00f6z\u00f6tt az egyetem idegennyelv\u0171 k\u00e9pz\u00e9s\u00e9\u00e9rt felel\u0151s vezet\u0151. Nemzetk\u00f6zi kapcsolatok\u00e9rt felel\u0151s Rektorhelyettesk\u00e9nt 2016 \u00f3ta az egyetem k\u00fclkapcsolatait igazgatja.
