Dr. Rhiannon Rodgers graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Budapest in 2024. During her studies, she had a keen interest in epidemiology, oncology, immunology, and research work as a whole.<\/p>
From 2024-late 2025, she had worked as a private tutor for several veterinary subjects, during which she discovered her passion for teaching.<\/p>
Prior to graduating, she wrote her master\u2019s thesis with the Immunology group within the Department of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, entitled \u201eModification of the Innate Immune Response using Low Molecular Weight Substances and its Effects on Renal Carcinoma Cells in a Mouse Model<\/em>\u201d.<\/p> In early 2026, she joined the Immunology group as a PhD student, and continues her research in oncotherapy, investigating the effects of Cold Atmospheric Plasma (CAP) on various tumor types, including the equine sarcoid.<\/p> Alongside her PhD studies, she takes part in leading immunology practicals, as well as assisting in other areas of research within the department, including Radiofrequency (RF) ablation studies, photometrics, and immunotherapy.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Dr. Rhiannon Rodgers graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Budapest in 2024.
