Panteon

The Hungarian Veterinary Pantheon is the digital collection of the University of Veterinary Medicine (Budapest) and its Hutÿra Ferenc Library, Archives, and Museum, presenting the biographies and memories of renowned veterinarians. The purpose of the portal is to showcase, based on historical research, the outstanding figures of veterinary medicine and all those who, over the centuries, have worked as veterinarians or were affiliated with the university in Hungary.

On the site, visitors can browse biographies, photographs, gravesites, and publications in alphabetical order by clicking on the names of the professionals. Detailed information is available on prominent individuals such as Márton Galambos, Gyula Gróh, or György Endre Guoth. The Hungarian Veterinary Pantheon contributes to preserving the cultural heritage of the institution and the profession. Through its user interface, various documents and archival materials are easily accessible.
