To meet its objectives to ensure that the appropriate information is communicated to the
inquirers about the available courses and programmes, the University of Veterinary Medicine
Budapest shall gather and handle the following personal data from the registered users: name,
Handling private data is possible with the preliminary permission of the registered users.
The personal data that have been passed on are handled by the Communications and
International Relations Department in a SharePoint database in accordance with the
University’s Account Management Policy.
You have the possibility to ask for information about your personal data that are handled by

request will be granted within 30 days. You can also notify the University on these addresses
if your data are incorrect or have changed.
You can request deletion of your personal data that are handled by the University. The
University executes the deletion if you had withdrawn your former consent, the data handling
has been illicit or in case there is no legitimate interest on the University’s side that is
considered to be a priority.
You can notify the University that you wish to limit access to your personal data if:
you have doubts about the accuracy of your personal data;
- you request deletion of your personal data due to illicit data handling;
- you request your personal data that is not needed for data handling for submitting,
validating or protection of legal claims;
- you object to data handling by reasons regarding your own situation.
You can object to your personal data handling, in which case the University deletes your
personal data. Your request cannot be executed in case there are legal binding reasons that
are to be prioritized over the objection.
