The mission of the Marek József Foundation is to exercise the founding, ownership, and maintenance rights of the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest, to ensure the operational conditions of the University, and to achieve its institutional development goals.

To develop Hungarian higher education’s economic, social, and international relations, the Foundation operates an educational, scientific research, student, student, lecturer, researcher, and teacher support program, provides need-based support, and supports the operation of talent management programs.

The Foundation aims to promote world-class academic and extra-curricular education and research and to provide the necessary educational, training, and scholarship conditions.
