Introduction

Dr. Éva Szücs-Somlyó obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 2003, with a specialization in wildlife management. She subsequently joined the National Institute for Veterinary Medicinal Products, Feed and Food Control (ÁOGYTI), where she was involved in the registration of poultry vaccines. In 2007, she moved to Győr, where she participated in the education and training of veterinary technicians. In parallel, she gained several years of practical experience in clinical veterinary practice and in a veterinary pharmacy. She continued her studies at Semmelweis University in the Mental Health and Organizational Development program, where she obtained her second degree in 2018. Since 2018, she has been a member of the Immunology Group at the Department of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases of the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest. She earned her PhD degree in 2024 with her dissertation entitled “Investigation of the Immunotoxicological Effects of Metal Oxide Particles, Especially ZnO Inhalation.”
