Introduction
Dr. Ádám Kerek was born in Gyöngyös and completed his grammar school studies at the Berze Nagy János Grammar School. Subsequently, he was admitted to the Faculty of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences of Szent István University, where in 2010 he obtained a BSc degree in Animal Husbandry Engineering. After that, he worked for 2 years in the START Public Works Program in his home village, the Nagyréde Municipality, where he performed coordination and planning tasks. In the meantime, he completed the OKJ training as a veterinary assistant. In 2014 he was admitted to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Szent István University (since 2016, University of Veterinary Medicine). He graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine in February 2020 with a doctorate summa cum laude in veterinary medicine. Since March 2020, he has been working at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology as a department veterinarian.
