I graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest in 1999 and started working as a clinician at the Clinic for Large Animals (department of the university). I obtained my postgradute diploma as an equine specialist in 2007 and after 5 years of residency training I became a diplomate of the European College of Equine Internal Medicine in 2014. I did my PhD research on equine lower respiratory diseases. In 2015, I joined the Institute of Animal Breeding, Nutrition and Laboratory Animal Science, where my main research area is related to performance and preventive feeding of horses and applied clinical nutrition of small animals and horses. In addition to the University of Budapest, I am also working as a senior clinician in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Equine Clinic of the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna.
