Course description

/files/courses/7395/files/endocrinology-progr-2016spring.pdfThe course of clinical endocrinology deals with the endocrine background of the reproductive functions and introduces the new endocrine methods (RIA, ELISA) and diagnostic methods (scintigraphia). The proper use and evaluation of the results of hormone analytical laboratory support very much the establishment of the diagnosis and treatment protocols in domestic (cow, sheep, horse and swine), pet (dog, cat and ferret) and zoo animals with reproductive problems/infertility problems/endocrine diseases (e.g. diabetes, Cushing syndrome, disturbances in the thyroid functions, etc.). The curriculum has been entirely processed in Power Point format. The files available, for each lecture, in the form of an outline contain all the essential information and elements of the curriculum. The material is updated every school year and, free of charge, it is made available to the students in its entirety on a CD in order to make the preparation for the exams easier.
