The University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest has visited several other counties educational fair, where the students could meet with our team personally and get answers to all their questions.
Philippines – Excited students have been waiting for us
In September the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest’s representatives also visited the Phillippines where participated in the International Education Fair Philippines (IEFP). The IEFP organized is an annual series of education fairs bringing together top universities, colleges, and technical institutes from various countries, where students will be able to collect relevant information about study opportunities and scholarship programmes abroad.
IEFP served as a platform for us to showcase our courses, education offerings, and other information to future vet students.
During the stay, we visited international high schools as well where we had information seminars alongside the education fair aiming to have direct engagement between the university and potential students: we were hosted by the Cebu International Schools, International School of Manila and Singapore International School. The students were excited and curious, expressing their wish to be a veterinarian student at Hungary.
Higher Options in Dublin: we’ve participated in Ireland’s largest college fair
Representatives of universities and third-level colleges and institutions that cater for all levels were present. The Irish Times Higher Options 2018 is the country’s largest college expo for second-level students.
As many as 25,000 students were expected to attend the event this year as they prepare to make key decisions about what and where they will study.
More than 160 colleges, universities and institutes of further education from across Europe were represented at Higher Options 2018, which was a good opportunity for students to speak directly with our representatives and get answers to all their questions.
Questions included queries about the cost of living in Hungary, the admission requirements, the class sizes, the retention rate and so on.
South Korea – Most inspiring country
In September our representatives have participated in the Korea Study Abroad educational fair. In the frame of the Study in Europe section, we visited three cities: Deagu, Busan and Seoul.
During the South Korean trip, we initiated cooperation – we meet the representatives of the Kyungpook National University, the Chungnam National University and the Seoul National University.
We have visited the USAEDUKOREA international school which prepares students who want to learn in Hungary. At the Seoul Foreign High School, which is the most prestigious international private school in Seoul, we get a joint appearance with the University of Pécs, and the University of Nebraska High School Korean Campus students were the most interested in veterinary medicine.
In the cities, we’ve met a lot of curious students and hope we can greet them in the future at our University.
