Records were broken at the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest

The number of students admitted to the veterinary program has never been this high before. For the Hungarian-language veterinary program, despite a sixfold oversubscription, 160 students were accepted, and 260 newly admitted students will begin their studies in the English and German language programs this autumn.

Another step towards animal protection

The need for coordinated action is evident as, since January 1, 2020, 88 cases of animal abuse have been registered in the capital city. During this time, Budapest police officers and their collaborating partners have saved over 200 animals.
