Dr. Tamás Sulyok, President of Hungary, has entrusted Prof. Dr. Péter Sótonyi to continue his rectoral duties at the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest from September 27, 2024, to September 26, 2029.

This year we had three speakers, all veterinarians: Tania Germann (American), Philipp Scholz (German) and Theodora Bernitsa (Greek), who accepted the invitation with great pleasure.

The Senate of the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest held its end-of-year graduation and doctoral award ceremony in the great hall on June 28.

The cooperation aims to provide our students with a unique opportunity to gain direct insight into the care and management of racehorses, thereby enriching their practical knowledge.

This recognition was awarded for his more than four decades of high-level teaching and research, and his outstanding contributions to agricultural higher education, particularly in the field of veterinary science.

The Hungarian veterinary institution signed a cooperation agreement with the Hanover Veterinary College in 1978, which included a bilateral student exchange program. We are proud that this cooperation agreement and student exchange have continued uninterrupted for 45 years.
