AAH is the region’s first bilingual, interdisciplinary scientific journal on animal protection, advocating for a complex, holistic approach to animal welfare and protection.

Several international surveys have highlighted the significant transformation in the veterinary profession in recent years. Research conducted by the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest has also explored who aspires to become a veterinarian in Hungary.

UVMB students excelled again in the spring of 2025. They brought home numerous prizes and special awards: across three sections, they achieved 7 first places, 3 second places, 3 third places, and 10 special awards.
