Dr. Ákos Jerzsele became a member of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University on December 1, 2004, immediately after receiving his diploma. In 2009, he earned his PhD degree after defending his doctoral dissertation titled “Comparative Pharmacokinetics of Amoxicillin-Clavulanic Acid in Broiler Chickens and Turkeys, and Studies on Bacterial Sensitivity and Stability.” In 2011, he obtained a Specialist Veterinary Clinical Diploma in Small Animal Medicine.

Since 2018, he has been the head of the Department, and since 2019, he has served as the Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation at the University of Veterinary Medicine.
