Course description

Homeostasis in the animal organism, transport processes across the biological membrane, characterization, and regulation of the enzymatic reactions. Basic knowledge of molecular biology.

Evaluation description

Students are hereby informed that the prevalent qualification system and requirements in subject “Veterinary Biochemistry 1.” for the fall semester of the academic year 2025/2026 are as follows:

  • Regular personal or online visiting of the lectures
  • Successful performance of all laboratory practicals
  • Completion of 60% of the maximal scores in the laboratory practicals
  • Completion of 60% of the maximal scores on the written midterm test
