A novel, minimally invasive, closed procedure is used for the management of the left displaced abomasum (LDA) in cattle. It allows the effective management of an animal with an LDA, compared to the conventionally used open surgical procedures – providing a lower cost treatment, better prognosis for recovery and a higher future income from milk production.
