Course description

Place of lectures/semesters, practicals: Department of Botany, Rottenbiller street 50 I/6

The purpose of the elective course to show all thos indoor and garden plants which people keep at home for decoration, but they have a risk of poisonings for the house pets. These plants are not part of the Botany for veterinarian course, so the course can give a more complex view of herbal poisonings.

3. Plants cause the damage and irritation of the digestive tract

5. Plants cause disorders of central nervous system

7. Demonstration in the garden, Test

Evaluation description

Students need to attend at least 4 lectures to accept the course. The course ends with a written exam.

Grading scheme:

  • excellent: 86%
  • good: 76%
  • satisfactory: 66%
  • passing: 51%
