RESEARCH TOPIC:
Genotyping:
Biodiversity of domestic animal populations, breeds and wild species, analysis of pedigree, performance testing and breeding value estimation of domestic animals. Molecular diagnosis of hereditary diseases in dogs and cats, forensic animal genetics, DNA-based sex and individual identification, parentage control. Methodology and calculation of sampling.
Phenotyping:
Description of the phenotype using modern procedures and tools. 2D, 3D and real-time shape analysis tools, non-linear dimensioning procedures. New tools for mathematical characterization, description, and comparison. Application possibilities of geometric morphometry. Possibilities of in-silico conformation evaluation. Archiving tools of conformation. Automatic 3D modeling. Utilization of CT images in the examination of gray cattle skulls. Creation of Phenbank.eu. Creating an artificial intelligence (AI) engine for Vatem3.0 software. Precision animal product production.
