Dr. Péter Sótonyi, Rector of the University of Veterinary Medicine, has opened the exhibition of the University History and the natural photo gallery of the university student, Flóra Jakab. The Rectors’ speech was followed by the 12th Veterinary Student Concert.

The University history exhibition was curated by Adél Váradi. The exhibition covers information about the University glorious past from the foundation of the Department of Veterinary Medicine in 1787 to the beginning of the 21st century.

“It is a tremendous thing for me to open this exhibition which presents the Hungarian veterinary history for the first time. And it’s a great pleasure for us to welcome a special natural photo exhibition of Flóra Jakab in our temporary exhibition room.” – said Dr. Péter Sótonyi.
