The University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest has participated in the National Hunting Contest at Sopron. The contest was organized by the University of Sopron. Our University was represented by the team „Wildanimals”.
Team members:
Petra Vöröskői (4th year)
Ádám Kurucz (3rd year)
László Bánáti (2nd year)
Bálint Fodor (1st year)
The organizer of the competition had accepted applications from universities providing wildlife management education.
“Our main goal was to have fun and do our best in all challenges.” – said Ádám Kuruc, one of the contestant.
Among the complex tasks were hunter ethics test, hunting dog, and hunting horn sound recognition test, as well as other practical tests such as shooting, trapping, and other hunting-related tasks.
“Although we have managed to take only the fourth place we are satisfied with our score.” – said Bálint Fodor.
“I would like to thank the university for its help and I hope we could participate in next year as well.” – said László Bánáti.
Congratulation to the “Wildanimals” for their outstanding results.
