The University of Veterinary Medicine participated in the Uniagent conference in Delhi, India last week. In the frame of the event, we met with agents, educational consultants, and students.

During the visit, we presented our university to different high school students in Amritsar. The students could learn more about our education system, Hungary and the beauty of the veterinary profession, sharing with them new ways and opportunities regarding higher education and veterinary medicine.

Agricultural has an increasing importance in India that is why skilled veterinarians are needed to keep up with the development of the country. 

We visited at Gujarat region the Central University of Gujarat, where we initiated cooperation with the vice chancellor of the university. Also in Gujarat regions' high schools, we shared our presentation about Hungarian higher education system and the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest to leaders, teachers, and students as well.
