The “Figyelő Higher Education Ranking” is an annual ranking of higher education institutions in Hungary. Every year, this list shows which universities reached the higher scores in the Hungarian university rankings.

This ranking judge universities across all their main assignment: teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international relations. They used 17 carefully calibrated performance indicators to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons, based on the Hungarian Educational Authority’s data.

This year’s list of the best universities in Hungary is led by the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest.

“Veterinary training in Hungary is available in three languages; apart from the Hungarian programme, we offer English and German programmes to students coming from around 50 countries of the world who well outnumber the Hungarian students. We have 1500 students of whom 1000 are international students.” – said Dr Péter Sótonyi rector.

When other Hungarian universities are struggling to be among the best in the world, having been accredited by EAEVE our alma mater already occupies a leading position in Europe and we recently earned “the most intimate and international campus of Budapest” title.

Our foreign students undertake a crucial and responsible mission since, in other countries of the world, our university will be judged based on the knowledge they acquire here. Through their work, they will be our ambassadors in the world.
