Fly-in Programme for high school counsellors

In May, the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest hosted a small group of high school counsellors from all over the world to show them our University and Budapest. The aim of the two-day programme was to give an overview of the educational and clinical activities on our campus and to show them the beautiful and scenic city of Budapest so they can help the students in the process of selecting international courses.

We hosted 7 high school counsellors from 7 different countries, 3 different continents. During the two-day visit, our guests had a chance to get to know the university and the veterinary profession better and this way they got first-hand information to give to students who are interested in studying veterinary medicine. We have visited the small animal clinic and the large animal clinic and had a sightseeing tour at the scenic and beautiful Budapest.
