It was 30 years ago when the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest launched its veterinary education in German. As the first stage to celebrate this wonderful anniversary, we are happy to create our event called the „1st UNIVET Budapest Oktoberfest” taking part in „Marek Days”.

The original Oktoberfest is one of the biggest folk festivals and probably the most important cultural program during the autumn in Europe, focusing on the German traditions, gastronomy and of course beer.

Following the mentioned customs, we are organizing the „1st UNIVET Budapest Oktoberfest” to show our appreciation to our German students and encourage them to present their culture and way of celebrating to the other university graduates.

Since we have started the German Program, we are proud to say that the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest has been internationally recognized among veterinary educations.

On the 10th of October, our campus located in the heart of Budapest is going to be a place of wonderful events: wide range of high-quality craft beer will be served accompanied by a huge variety of street-food stands at this magical mini-festival.
