Getting ready to go to university is one of the most exciting times in students’ life. Experiencing a new country, different culture and people always challenging. For this reason, the Freshers’ Week at the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest was a great opportunity for our students to meet new people, make new friends and get everything in order before they start studying.

This year the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest organized a joint Freshers’ Week for international and Hungarian first-year students for the first time. On this week our new students had the chance to take part in even more exciting activities and programs, such as bout trip on River Danube, participate in sightseeing walks and experience the history of Budapest.

Within the frame of Freshers’ Week, we organized the 1st International Freshmen Day, held at the University Educational Farm, where we launched the 2019/2020 school year with clinic and farm visits, followed by fun activities and games as well.
